Description
The JGS Fellowship for Photography, administered by the New York Foundation for The Arts (NYFA) and funded by The Joy of Giving Something (JGS), recognizes and supports five outstanding photographers annually who are based in New York State but outside New York City. The fellowship is open to artists working in all forms of traditional and experimental photography, including light-based work and alternative processes, provided that photographic techniques are central to their practice. The grant is unrestricted, allowing recipients to use the funds to further their creative vision and professional development without limitations on project scope or stage.
