The Joe Perdue Scholarship provides financial support for undergraduate students preparing for managerial careers in the private club industry. Administered by The Club Foundation, it connects university education with the foundation’s broader commitment to developing club professionals throughout their careers, from undergraduate study through executive leadership.
The scholarship honors Joe Perdue, CCM, CHE, a former club manager who moved into academia and mentored club leaders and club management students around the world. Perdue created and led CMAA’s Business Management Institutes, strengthened its education and certification pathways, and served on The Club Foundation Board of Directors for several decades. The award reflects his longstanding commitment to club management education.
