Description
The Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation provides annual grants to support projects that foster appreciation for America's diverse cultural heritage and revitalize community livability through historic preservation. The fund prioritizes planning, education, and restoration activities that contribute to the preservation or recapture of an authentic sense of place. Eligible projects include hiring consultants, strengthening management capabilities, developing communications, sponsoring conferences and workshops, implementing innovative programs, and bricks-and-mortar restoration or stabilization of historic sites, structures, or landscapes. The program encourages projects with long-term community impact.
