Description
The John Border Memorial Fellowship, part of the AO Trauma NA Named Fellowships, offers North American orthopedic residents or fellows specializing in trauma a unique opportunity for a 1–3 month immersive clinical experience at a European AO trauma center. The fellowship is designed to enhance expertise in the management of polytrauma and complex orthopedic injuries by providing direct exposure to European trauma care practices, hands-on clinical activities, and opportunities for international collaboration within the AO Trauma network.
Fellows will participate in daily trauma service activities, engage in case discussions, and observe both operative and nonoperative management of complex injuries. The experience is intended to foster the exchange of innovative techniques and best practices between North American and European trauma specialists.
