Description
The Hope Foundation’s John Crowley, PhD Award supports collaboration and interactive mentorship in cancer clinical and translational research. Spearheaded by Cancer Research And Biostatistics (CRAB) and the SWOG Statistics and Data Management Center, it offers a customizable in-person residency of up to one week with statistical faculty and data management staff. The program honors Dr. Crowley’s contributions to biostatistics, cancer trial design and analysis, and mentorship.
Research concepts may develop statistical methodology or apply statistical methods to cancer clinical trials or translational research, including secondary data analysis. The program also provides opportunities to connect with leaders in the field and develop a personal career path, with a focus on early- to mid-career clinical trialists seeking deeper involvement in research methodology.
