Description
This award enables members of the American Physiological Society (APS) to enhance their research skills and career trajectory by supporting participation in specialized training, skill development, or retraining in emerging research areas. The goal is to increase long-term career potential for early-career and established researchers. Funding is provided for direct costs related to these activities, and recipients are expected to use the funds within one year of the award. Awardees are also required to attend the American Physiology Summit for the award presentation, acknowledge the award in resulting publications, and complete a follow-up survey three to five years after completion.
