Description
Gateway for Cancer Research runs this joint program with the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group–American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ECOG-ACRIN) Cancer Research Group. It supports the expansion of innovative phase II cancer trials into community settings through ECOG-ACRIN’s network of nearly 1,400 academic and community-based cancer centers and hospitals.
The partnership connects Gateway’s support for cancer research with sites where patients receive care in their communities. Its aim reflects ECOG-ACRIN’s mission to reduce the burden of cancer and improve quality of life and survival for adults with cancer.
