Description
Gateway for Cancer Research collaborates with the National Cancer Institute through the Specialized Programs of Research Excellence (SPORE)/P20 Program to support patient-centric translational cancer research through clinical trials. The program seeks proposals from SPORE and P20 awardees to extend a clinical study rather than repeat work funded by a SPORE award.
Proposed extensions may add a trial arm or new patient cohorts, generate new correlative analyses, or increase the sample size by enrolling additional patients. Gateway makes awards through its own application and review process.
