Description
The American Center of Research (ACOR) offers this scholarship to help Jordanian graduate students cover the annual costs of academic programs related to Jordan’s cultural heritage. The program supports ACOR’s mission of advancing knowledge of Jordan and the interconnected region, past and present, and contributes to training future generations of Jordanian academics.
Eligible fields include archaeology, anthropology, linguistics and epigraphy, history, conservation, museum studies, and fields related to cultural resource management. Support is directed toward recipients’ graduate education. The program also provides the possibility of continued support: recipients demonstrating excellent academic progress may reapply in consecutive years, with priority consideration given to these returning applicants.
