Description
The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute offers the Joseph Breen Memorial Fellowship to help undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars attend the annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference. Fellows present work related to their green chemistry or engineering research or educational interests as a talk or poster and are recognized at the conference.
The fellowship is funded by the Joseph Breen Memorial Fund, which commemorates the Green Chemistry Institute’s first director and his role in establishing the green chemistry movement. It supports emerging researchers and educators in sharing work on chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances.
