    Description

    This opportunity supports U.S. scholars and professionals to teach, conduct research, or undertake professional projects in journalism and broadcasting at institutions in Zambia. Activities may include classroom teaching, guest lectures, workshops, curriculum development, research, or projects that enhance professional development for both the scholar and the host institution. The grant encourages engagement with the host community through public talks, mentoring, and collaborative activities, all aimed at strengthening international understanding and academic cooperation.

    Scholars may select from institutions such as Evelyn Hone College, University of Zambia, Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation, and Mulungushi University. Topics may include reporting, media ethics, new media, online writing, and news editing, but projects can be tailored to the applicant’s expertise and the host’s needs.
