The Joyce Tracy Fellowship is designed to support scholars pursuing research projects that center on newspapers and magazines, or that utilize these periodicals as primary documentation. The fellowship is named in memory of the American Antiquarian Society’s longtime curator of newspapers and periodicals and aims to advance scholarly understanding of the historical and cultural significance of periodicals in American history. Fellows are expected to conduct their research on-site, making use of the Society’s extensive collections in Worcester, Massachusetts.
