Description
The Judith A. Quinn Detroit Member Chapter Scholarship is administered by the Association for Iron and Steel Technology’s Detroit Member Chapter. It aims to reward and attract talented, dedicated students and encourage careers in the iron and steel industry. High school seniors and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply, subject to the scholarship’s enrollment requirements.
Named in 2013 in honor of Judith A. Quinn, a pioneer for women in the Detroit-area steel industry, the scholarship supports full-time undergraduate study in engineering, metallurgy, or materials science. Eligible students in other majors related to iron and steel production may receive awards if there are no applicants in engineering or metallurgy.
