The Junior Twins Equipment Kit Program aims to support youth baseball and softball organizations by providing new, safe, and age-appropriate equipment kits. Powered by Treasure Island Resort & Casino and the Prairie Island Indian Community, and administered by the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, this program helps organizations keep registration costs low and make the game accessible to a broader range of youth participants. Kits are fulfilled by Pitch In for Baseball & Softball and include gloves, bats, balls, helmets, and catcher's sets, with options for different age groups and both baseball and softball teams.
Organizations may request up to three kits per year, with kit types tailored to age and sport. The program evaluates applications based on financial need, the number of youth served, and the quality of the application.
