Description
The Just-In-Time (JIT) Core Usage Funding Program provides expedited access to funding for research projects utilizing designated JIT Cores at Washington University in St. Louis. The program is intended for investigators who need preliminary data to develop clinical or translational proposals for extramural funding, or for projects that will immediately and measurably improve patient care at Barnes-Jewish Hospital or St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Special emphasis is placed on projects in advanced stages of the translational science spectrum and those conducted in human populations. Funding is provided in the form of a virtual voucher for core services, not as a direct cash award.
