Description
The Justice Assistance Grant–Local Law Enforcement (JAG-LLE) program is administered by the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council and replaces the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant. It provides funding to units of local law enforcement and tribal governments for equipment purchases, rather than broader project activities.
The Justice Assistance Grant Board reviews proposals and determines awards. Its priorities limit applications to equipment approved by the U.S. Department of Justice, including camera and surveillance equipment, computers, duty equipment, technology, medical equipment, and vehicles. The program is intended for jurisdictions that cannot apply directly to the Bureau of Justice Assistance for a JAG award and that submit crime report information.
