Description
The JVIR Editor’s Awards for Outstanding Research recognize essential, best-in-class interventional radiology research published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR). Established in 2011 by then editor-in-chief Ziv J Haskal, MD, FSIR, these annual honors are made possible through SIR Foundation.
The program recognizes published work in two areas: clinical research and laboratory investigation. The chosen articles represent research that may substantially impact the interventional radiology community, either now or in the future. Selection centers on the quality and potential significance of published research, with editorial board members voting on manuscripts and the current editor-in-chief making the final selections.
