Description
The JVIR Resident Editorial Fellowship is a one-year program designed to immerse interventional radiology (IR) trainees in all aspects of scholarly publishing and journal editorial processes. Fellows work closely with the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) Editorial Board, gaining direct experience in manuscript review, editorial decision-making, and strategic journal operations. The fellowship includes mentorship, participation in editorial meetings, co-authorship opportunities, completion of an educational curriculum, and leadership of a capstone project focused on new journal initiatives. The program aims to develop critical appraisal skills, enhance academic writing abilities, and support career advancement in academic IR.
