The Kaplan Family Distinguished Faculty Fellowship honors full-time Cornell University faculty who have created transformative student experiences through community-engaged learning. Established in 2001, the fellowship recognizes faculty who integrate students into meaningful, real-world learning activities that benefit both students and community partners. The $10,000 award is intended to further develop, launch, or institutionalize community-based learning courses or research projects, strengthening Cornell’s commitment to civic engagement and public impact.
