Description
This award provides start-up funding to early career orthopedic trauma surgeons to advance research projects that can be completed within two years. The intent is to foster the development of surgeons within five years of completing their orthopedic trauma fellowship (with consideration for military service delays) by supporting feasible research that may also serve as a component of a larger initiative. Projects funded by this award are expected to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of orthopedic trauma care and research.
