Description
The Kensington Conservation Grant is an annual Explorers Club program made possible by Jeff Willner and Kensington. It supports on-the-ground research across a wide range of field science disciplines, aiming to deepen understanding of the world and advance cultural and environmental conservation. The program welcomes graduate students, post-graduate researchers, early-career scientists, and independent explorers, including people whose relevant skills were developed outside traditional academic pathways.
Storytelling connects the supported research with public education through media. Projects should have clearly defined objectives, measurable outcomes, and potential positive cultural or environmental impact. The program is particularly interested in work with significant impact, projects led by explorers from equity-deserving groups, and research focused on responsible or sustainable tourism.
