Description
This grant program provides general operating support to Kentucky-based nonprofit arts and cultural organizations whose primary mission is to deliver year-round public arts programming for Kentuckians. The goal is to strengthen arts organizations, increase statewide participation, promote diverse arts and culture, and build an effective arts delivery system. Funding is awarded based on a formula tied to organizational operating revenue, subject to available appropriations.
Applications are reviewed by a panel of arts professionals using criteria that consider program delivery, organizational capacity, community value, and accessibility. Grantees must acknowledge Kentucky Arts Council support in all promotional materials.
