Description
This grant program, administered by the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), provides funding to public school districts—including the Kentucky School for the Blind and Kentucky School for the Deaf—to acquire approved, high-quality, research-based instructional materials (HQIR) and curriculum-based professional learning (CBPL) for mathematics in kindergarten through third grade. The initiative aims to foster mathematics proficiency by ensuring all instructional resources and professional development are aligned to the Kentucky Academic Standards for Mathematics. Grant funds must be used for purchasing KDE-approved core mathematics curriculum and for professional learning that supports effective curriculum implementation in K–3 classrooms.
