Description
Kentucky Proud Farm to Fork is a Kentucky Department of Agriculture cost-share program administered through its agricultural marketing work. It partners with host organizations on community events that benefit a charity while highlighting local farms, farmers, producers, and Kentucky Proud farm products. Funding is made possible by the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund.
The program aims to increase awareness of the local food movement and direct impact on Kentucky farms. It reimburses eligible meal ingredients and farm items traceable to the Kentucky farm where they were grown or raised, as well as associated event promotion. A Kentucky Proud logo on a product does not, by itself, establish direct-farm impact.
