Description
The Kidney STARS program, offered by the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), is designed to encourage medical students, residents, and graduate students to explore careers in nephrology. The program provides selected participants with travel support and complimentary registration to attend ASN Kidney Week, the premier nephrology meeting. Through in-person events, tailored sessions, and networking opportunities, participants are exposed to the latest developments in kidney medicine and have the chance to connect with mentors and peers in the field. The program aims to foster early interest in nephrology and kidney research among trainees who have not yet committed to a nephrology fellowship.
