Description
The Catalyst Grants, offered through the Killam Research Fund at the University of Alberta, are designed to foster interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral research partnerships in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The program aims to help research teams build or strengthen collaborative relationships with both existing and new organizational partners, with the goal of co-creating and sharing knowledge. Catalyst Grants are intended to position teams for future success in securing large-scale external funding, such as SSHRC Partnership Grants or similar opportunities. The fund aligns with institutional priorities to promote research excellence, attract and retain research talent, and advance strategic research goals.
