Description
The Kindergarten Readiness Grant, administered by the Idaho Commission for Libraries, is designed to empower Idaho public libraries to prepare preschool children for academic success. The program funds library-led, community-based projects focused on early literacy, increasing access to books and digital resources, and building strong partnerships with schools and community organizations. The grant supports both new, innovative projects and the continuation or replication of proven best-practice models. Emphasis is placed on reaching children and families who are not currently utilizing library services, with the goal of ensuring more Idaho children enter kindergarten ready to learn.
