Description
Catalyst Grants are part of the Klamath River Fund, a program of Humboldt Area Foundation and Wild Rivers Community Foundation (HAF+WRCF). The fund supports community-led climate resilience and restorative justice throughout the Klamath River Basin. Following the unprecedented dam removal in 2023 and 2024, it aims to invest in and amplify restoration and revitalization efforts across the entire basin during the following decade.
Catalyst Grants address community needs that would not otherwise be fulfilled by a traditional grant. Supported work can include gap funding, a specific event, or another defined, short-term project completed within six to twelve months. The emphasis is on community-led efforts that contribute to the basin’s restoration and revitalization.
