    Description

    The Knowledge, Interchange and Collaboration (KIC) grant, administered by the National Research Foundation (NRF), provides funding for activities that foster knowledge exchange and collaboration, including research visits, meetings, and related initiatives. This grant is designed to support master’s and doctoral candidates engaged in full-time study at South African public universities, across all areas of science, engineering, technology, social sciences, and humanities—including Indigenous Knowledge Systems. Funding is awarded either at Full Cost of Study (FCS) or Partial Cost of Study (PCS) levels, based on applicant eligibility and available budget.
