Description
The Knox Community Good Grant Program, administered by Community Foundation Alliance, supports charitable work addressing a broad range of needs in Knox County. Community Good Unrestricted Funds and Field of Interest Funds support arts and culture, community development, education, health, human services, and other civic endeavors, including environment, recreation, and youth development. Grants normally support a single project, with possible consideration for additional support, expansions, or outgrowths.
The Foundation is reviewing its unrestricted grantmaking approach, priorities, and processes during FY27. During this review, a focused process considers historical grantmaking, community impact, and current needs, often continuing investment in organizations with an established partnership and impact. Most FY27 support will be unrestricted operating support. A redesigned process is expected in FY28.
