Description
This award supports projects that accelerate the translation of fundamental discoveries in Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) toward clinical application. It is intended for research advancing therapeutic candidates to clinical studies or for the development of innovative technologies and tools that address key challenges in FA therapy development. Eligible activities include preclinical testing of therapeutics, creation of enabling technologies, identification of biomarkers or clinical endpoints, and clinical studies of patient outcome measures. The award is named in honor of Kyle Bryant and aims to bridge the gap between basic research and tangible clinical progress for the FA community.
