Description
The Biochemical Society’s Lab Visit Grants support collaborative visits to laboratories in the UK and overseas. Available to Postgraduate, Early Career, Full and Emeritus members, the scheme helps researchers develop essential biochemistry techniques, undertake training, strengthen collaborations, educate partners about new advances, build research capacity or analyse results. Projects undertaken during the visit should have a molecular bioscience focus.
An expansion of the Society’s General Travel Grants scheme, this programme focuses on the work undertaken during laboratory visits and its benefits for researchers’ careers. Applications are assessed on career benefit, financial need and supporting letters, including whether the visit will establish collaborations or develop knowledge in an area the applicant is not currently pursuing.
