Description
The Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership gives landscape architecture professionals time to reflect, research, explore, create, and test ideas beyond traditional practice. It supports projects with the potential to bring meaningful change to the environment and humanity while advancing a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable world.
The yearlong program combines project development, transformational leadership, and intergenerational mentorship within a six-member cohort of Fellows and recent LAF Olmsted Scholars. Participants receive critical review, constructive feedback, and guidance from peers and invited leaders. Projects may include theoretical or historical investigations, products, programs, business plans, new practice models, built work, or technology. Abstract and multidisciplinary projects are welcome when they expand landscape architecture’s impact. Fellows share their work publicly and present their findings at a culminating symposium.
