Description
The Lafayette Fellowship, supported by FACE Foundation and presented through Albertine Foundation and Villa Albertine, funds one year of master’s-level study in France for up to 30 outstanding American students. It partners with leading French academic institutions across STEM, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. Courses are taught in French or entirely in English, and both Francophone and non-Francophone candidates are welcome.
The program nurtures young leaders with a strong interest in the transatlantic relationship and deepens academic and cultural exchange between France and the United States. Alongside coursework, fellows join a year-long French-American Leadership Program combining lectures, masterclasses, site visits, and mentorship. Its themes include sustainability, health and biotechnology, peace and security, social equity and democracy, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.
