Description
The Lancaster Community and Excellence In Education Fund is a permanent, unrestricted charitable endowment administered by the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life in the Lancaster, WI community by providing financial support for a wide range of community projects and programs. Grants are awarded annually in two cycles (spring and fall) to initiatives that address local needs in areas such as education, the arts, historic preservation, environmental stewardship, and support for the elderly. The fund is overseen by a nine-member volunteer advisory board comprised of community members who guide fundraising and grantmaking decisions.
