This program provides financial and technical assistance to help Massachusetts municipalities, eligible nonprofits, tribal governments, conservation districts, and public water suppliers permanently protect land, advance conservation transactions, develop or update municipal Open Space and Recreation Plans (OSRPs), and plan for the development or renovation of parks. Funding is available for consultant and contractor services that facilitate these conservation and recreation projects, including due diligence, appraisals, planning, and application preparation for other grant opportunities.
