Description
This grant opportunity funds the acquisition of land or conservation easements in the U.S. portion of the Lake Champlain Basin to further the goals of clean water, healthy ecosystems, and flood resiliency. The program, administered by the Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) and the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC), aims to secure long-term conservation outcomes that align with the management plan "Opportunities for Action." Projects should primarily advance water quality, aquatic and shoreline habitat protection, and flood resiliency, with public access considered a secondary co-benefit.
