Description
The Land Trust Assistance Grant is offered through the Maryland Environmental Trust as part of the Keep Maryland Beautiful Grant Program, which the Chesapeake Bay Trust administers. Formerly known as the Janice Hollmann Grant, it helps Maryland land trusts become sustainable organizations.
The grant supports organizational capacity, community programs and services, implementation of land trust Standards and Practices, and public support for conservation and stewardship. It also encourages innovation and stronger connections among Maryland land trusts. Land Trust Assistance is Track 2 of the broader Keep Maryland Beautiful program; eligibility and funding figures for the program’s other tracks do not apply to this grant.
