Description
The Landscape Partnership Grant Program is administered by Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), through the Division of Conservation Services and the EEA Office of Grants and Technical Assistance. It supports collaborative acquisitions of large, unique, unfragmented conservation and working landscapes, including undeveloped land, farms, forests, drinking-water lands, rare-species habitats, and restored lands.
The program funds fee-simple purchases and perpetual Conservation Restrictions (CRs), Agricultural Preservation Restrictions (APRs), and Watershed Preservation Restrictions (WPRs). Its goals include strengthening ecosystem connectivity and climate resilience, sustaining local farm and forest economies, leveraging state investment, improving stewardship, and expanding passive outdoor recreation. Projects are intended to extend beyond the scope of other state land-grant programs.
