Description
The Landscape Partnership Grant Program is a state-funded initiative designed to facilitate the permanent protection of large, unfragmented conservation landscapes across Massachusetts. Administered by the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), the program encourages partnerships among municipalities, state and federal agencies, and non-profit organizations to acquire land or conservation interests (such as conservation restrictions, agricultural preservation restrictions, and watershed preservation restrictions). Projects must meet minimum contiguous acreage requirements (varying by county) and enhance ecological connectivity, climate resilience, and public access for passive recreation. The program prioritizes projects that demonstrate strong collaboration, stewardship capacity, and alignment with state conservation and climate goals.
