Key Information: Funds must be used for experiments generating data to support the larger grant application.
The Large Collaborative Grant RFA is sponsored by the Executive Associate Dean for Research (EADR) and listed through the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. It supports the development of large, collaborative, interdisciplinary grant proposals by bringing together Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) faculty to develop novel concepts that advance the school’s mission and research goals.
The program focuses on research needed to underpin a larger application. Examples of supported proposal mechanisms include program project grants such as P01s, center grants such as P30s, P50s, and P60s, and cooperative agreements such as U54s. These examples do not limit the program to those mechanisms.
