The Large Research Grant program, administered by the Franco Institute at the University of Notre Dame, provides internal funding to support faculty research projects in any department or discipline within the College of Arts & Letters. The grant is designed to facilitate preliminary research activities or data collection, with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of future applications for external grants and fellowships. Awards are made twice annually following a competitive review by an interdisciplinary faculty panel.
