Description
Administered by the College of Graduate Studies, this memorial award supports graduate research on memory and memory-related issues at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus. An endowment established by the Estate of Lashley and Mary Haggman makes the award possible. Its subject focus is memory in the context of neurology, and it is available to incoming and continuing master’s and PhD students.
Selection considers alignment with the award’s research objectives, research ability and potential, and experience and achievements within and beyond academia. These include awards, academic record, and extracurricular activity.
