Description
The Lasker Clinical Research Scholars Program is designed to support outstanding clinical researchers in the early stages of their independent careers as they work to improve human health. This unique program provides a bridge between the NIH intramural and extramural research communities. Scholars are appointed as tenure-track investigators within the NIH Intramural Research Program for 5–7 years with independent research budgets. Following this, successful scholars may receive up to 3 years of additional NIH support to continue their research at an extramural institution or remain as an NIH intramural investigator.
