The Latin American Women in Chemistry Awards, jointly organized by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Latin American Federation of Chemical Associations (FLAQ), celebrate women scientists in Latin America and the Caribbean who have made significant contributions to chemistry and related sciences. The awards aim to promote gender equality and diversity in the scientific community. Three categories are offered: Emerging Leader in Chemistry and Related Sciences, Leadership in Industry, and Leadership in Academia.
