Description
The Latino Giving Circle, an initiative of Rochester Area Community Foundation, brings donors together to support organizations, initiatives, and programs created by and for the Latino community. Its mission is to meet ongoing needs, empower Latinos in Greater Rochester, and improve quality of life in “nuestra comunidad.” Grants provide general operating support and program or project support.
The circle seeks work that addresses systemic inequities and strengthens the Latino community’s social, economic, educational, cultural, and civic well-being. Successful applications foster collaboration, shared leadership, and strategic partnerships among organizations, grassroots groups, institutions, and community leaders. Supported work must be community-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive, and shaped by Latino voices, lived experiences, strengths, and aspirations.
