The Laughlin Family Foundation supports this research grant through the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC), within its 2026–2027 Endometrial/Uterine Cancer Grants category. The award funds innovative research advancing treatment of high-grade endometrial cancer, particularly work addressing therapeutic resistance. It is the Laughlin Family Foundation’s fourth FWC research grant focused on high-grade uterine cancer.
Research may examine hormonal or endocrine resistance, immune escape, lineage plasticity, tumor-microenvironment interactions, the microbiome’s role in inflammation and treatment response, or biomarkers predicting responsiveness to current or emerging therapies. Priority goes to projects using cutting-edge technologies and translational approaches to identify actionable targets and accelerate therapeutic development. The goal is more durable, personalized care for patients with aggressive endometrial cancers.
