Description
The Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program (LB21), offered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), funds projects that strengthen the library and archival workforce and increase the institutional capacity of libraries, archives, and library and information science (LIS) graduate programs nationwide. The program supports training, professional development, recruitment, and research to address the evolving information needs of communities of all types and sizes. Project types include planning, forums, implementation, and research, with a special focus on innovative approaches to workforce development, community engagement, and the advancement of library and archival practice.
