The Lawrence A. Taylor Research Fund in Petrology and Geochemistry, established in 2021 through the generosity of Dong-Hwa Shin (Dawn) Taylor, supports two PhD students annually who are pursuing research in Petrology and/or Geochemistry. The fund aims to advance scientific understanding by enabling exceptional doctoral candidates to further their research in these specialized Earth science disciplines. Recipients are selected based on outstanding research performance in their field.
