Description
The Lawrence County Community Foundation (LCCF), in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), awards annual grants to nonprofits, schools and public organizations serving Lawrence County. The program supports projects and programs that create opportunities, meet pressing needs and help realize the county’s potential. Grants are funded through earnings from investments in LCCF’s endowment fund.
Funding advances five “Pillars of Prosperity”: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. The program emphasizes support for individuals of all ages spearheading community projects. Priority goes to organizations based in Lawrence County that are community-driven, volunteer and grassroots led.
