The program encourages local organizations to launch impactful projects that foster enrichment and development within the Lawton area. --- ## Due Dates - Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; there are no fixed deadlines for Community Grants. - Matching Grants are also available on a rolling basis. --- ## Funding Amount - Grants of up to $5,000 are available per project. - Funding is typically for projects to be completed within one year. - Matching Grants require that at least $2,500 of the $5,000 come from individual contributions for organizations establishing or growing an endowment. --- ## Eligibility - Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations or scholarship funds located in Lawton or the surrounding area. - Organizations must have, or plan to establish, a permanent endowment fund at the Lawton Community Foundation. - Projects must be new or represent a significant expansion of current activities. - Projects must benefit a broad range of community members. - Applicants must demonstrate matching support from other community resources (financial or in-kind). - For Matching Grants, organizations must raise at least $2,500 from individuals. --- ## Application Process - To apply for a Community Grant: Email [lawtongrants@occf.org](mailto:lawtongrants@occf.org) with a brief description of your project.
